EWHA WOMANS UNIVERSITY
SEOUL HOSPITAL

Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital is a patient-centered smart hospital directly connected to Balsan Station on Seoul Subway Line 5, offering exceptional accessibility and convenience. From architectural design to clinical operations, every aspect of the hospital is planned with patient comfort and efficiency in mind.
The hospital operates a center-based care system organized by disease, eliminating the limitations of traditional department-based treatment. Separate circulation paths for inpatients and outpatients, an outpatient navigation numbering system, and a First-Visit Lounge ensure a smooth and comfortable patient experience.
Healing gardens and cultural spaces such as the Art Cube provide a therapeutic environment that supports both physical and emotional well-being.
Guided by the belief that speed is as critical as accurate diagnosis, Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital partnered with Kakao Healthcare to become the first general hospital in Korea to launch a KakaoTalk chatbot–based reservation service. Through the hospital’s official KakaoTalk channel, patients can easily make, modify, or cancel appointments and complete pre-visit questionnaires using their mobile devices.
As Korea’s first general hospital to implement a Digital Front Door, Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital continues to integrate advanced IT technologies into medical care, leading the way in delivering fast, precise, and patient-focused healthcare.
